一、发刊词 
经过共同努力，一张崭新的电子参考资料——《大连彩虹工作简报》终于与大家见面了，可谓是“千呼万唤始出来”，但绝非“犹抱琵琶半遮面”。 
大连彩虹这份带着新鲜油墨香味的《简报》，使我们多了一种交流方式。愿通过《简报》，这个小小的窗口，让外面的世界了解“大连彩虹”，认识彩虹，爱上彩虹；也能让“彩虹”了解缤纷的世界。 
“平等、快乐、关爱、健康” 是大连彩虹工作宗旨，目的是遏制艾滋病的蔓延。《简报》是我们合作与经验交流的阵地；我们相互鼓励、相互帮助、相互支持、相互督促，共同推动社会文明的进步！ 
 
二、设同志健康站点，安全套由“发”到“拿” 
2005年1月初，大连彩虹工作组，以健康为主题，在大连部分县市设立健康站，负责健康咨询和安全套的免费发放。改变由志愿者有局限性的发套，变为广大同志到健康站自由获取安全套，并接受健康咨询，使其了解性病、艾滋病的防控知识，采用实物与教育相结合的双重防控模式，同时留下的问卷资料为我们工作提供了详实的，、可供借鉴的定量依据。降低疾病感染率，同时也关注了同志的心理健康。 
一位受益者这样评价健康站：一个个小小的健康站，承载着同志的健康和城市的文明，更承载着我们对同志人群的关爱和祝福！

三、组织能力建设培训，再上新台阶 
2005年1月29日，“大连彩虹组织能力建设培训”开班。提供专业指导培训，培训骨干，让各个小组完全独立工作，促进小组工作专业化。工作组举办了组织能力建设培训。乘胜追击，1月31日，红光小组又举办了外展工作经验分享交流座谈会，交流上一年的工作经验，指导新加入的成员的活动，促成小组向专业化发展。 
 
四、 “MB，保护自己、关爱他人”艾滋防控培训 
从事性服务的高危人群，由于健康知识的匮乏等，不仅自己是受害者，也容易传播他人，大连彩虹对MB进行了健康教育。 
2月7日，大连彩虹对MB进行性病、艾滋病培训。工作组人员通过问答方式将所讲的问题点出，采取答对有偿鼓励的办法，充分调动与会者的积极性。根据具体情况，对他们进行性病和艾滋病的宣传。并实践证明，通过对他们的培训，提高了他们对性病、艾滋病的认识，增强了他们的安全意识和自我保护意识。为以后的MB人群工作的开展奠定了坚实的基础。 
 
五、分小组联合，开展性病和艾滋病知识宣传。 
2005年2月中旬，大连彩虹的各个分组，联合开展性病和艾滋病的健康宣传。并取得了理想的效果，达到了预期目的。 
网络小组，通过网络进行性病、艾滋病知识的宣传及安全套、健康资料的发放。针对一些怀疑自己感染疾病的人，通过网络或电话进行耐心讲解，以减轻其心理上的压力。红光小组浴池做了一次外展活动，这次工作中，彩虹工作组全程考核。来访的联合国人口规划署官员，对大连彩虹外展活动给予好评。鑫艺小组在酒吧开展外展活动，通过编排小品的方式，宣传防控性病、艾滋病，节目中穿插着安全套的正确使用等。工作组人员与酒吧客人聊天，做同伴教育。 
其他小组也做了大量的宣传工作，使大连彩虹的人力资源达到了充分和有效的发挥，更重要的是使更多的人成为大连彩虹的受益者，让更多的人享受了健康的同志生活。 
 
六、彩虹健康热线接线员培训 
对于一个热线的咨询员来说，专业知识、接线技巧以及对对方心里的把握等是做好热线工作的前提和保证。 
为了保证接线员的服务质量，2005年3月5日，工作组对接线员进行了专门的培训，健全大连彩虹热线组，拿出了具体的规章制度和奖惩办法，为同志健康而服务。 
通过以后的观察和实践证明，热线服务的质量大大提高，发挥了其应有的作用。（大连彩虹健康热线0411-8033381） 
 
七、 “彩虹大桥梁同志保健康”大连彩虹走进大学生 
2005年3月27日，以“大连彩虹走进大学生”为主题，举办了较大型的培训，与会人数超过原来的预计，并有半数的大学生表示要做志愿者，参加彩虹工作组，这次活动成为我们2005年下半年开展“大连各高校大学生健康社区活动”的前奏。 
会后，大学生表示：恶补了一堂健康课，学到了很多的性病、艾滋病的防控知识，这是以前书本中没有学到的，保护自己，关爱他人

八、“友邦联谊，共建同志文明” 
2005年04月23日，由鞍山好兄弟工作组主办、大连彩虹工作组协办的“鞍山——大连友好城市互动健康交友会”在美丽的工业城市鞍山成功的举办。鞍山、大连及周边城市赶来参加的人数50多人，参与活动的同志们热情很高。同时，此次互动交友，也是一次宣传性病、艾滋病防控的大型外展，以及同伴教育活动。 
由此也拉开了大连彩虹和兄弟城市互动、交流学习、一同预防性病和艾滋病、推动同志健康发展的帷幕。

大连彩虹工作组简介 
 
大连彩虹成立于1999年春，是中国最早的同志工作组之一。 
大连彩虹宗旨是“平等、快乐、关爱、健康”，目的是遏制性病、艾滋病的蔓延。 
六年来，大连彩虹为了减少性病、艾滋病对人类的危害而努力。立足大连，致力于推动同志人群的健康教育、消除歧视，注重人文关怀，帮助同志人群获得必要的社会支持和医疗救助。目前，工作组工作不仅仅限于同志人群，而是社会上整个弱势人群的关爱，推动社会的文明进步。 
大连彩虹经过六年的发展，工作组的结构已经成型，下设秘书处、人事管理处、外联部、宣传部、财务部项目、执行部、监理部等，各部门协同作战，共同为大连彩虹的发展而努力，为遏制性病、艾滋病的发展而努力！ 
同时，大连彩虹配合政府部门、各民间机构、以及其它组织，面对弱势人群，特别是性病、艾滋病易感人群开展工作，围绕宣传教育、行为干预、健康培训、关爱、检测等方面开展了形式多样的工作。大连彩虹对健康的推动，以及对艾滋病防控所取得的成绩，曾多次被当地媒体所报道，并开展了多项有国内国际影响的活动。 
这六年中，大连彩虹在同志人群中，开展多种健康活动，深入外展、开展同伴教育、与政府部门配合免费艾滋病检测。 
 
A brief introduction to the Dalian Rainbow Work Group 
Dalian Rainbow work group was one of the earliest gay organizations in China, which was founded in the spring of 1999. During the last six years, DRW has made great efforts on reducing the hazard of venereal diseases and AIDS, going in for facilitating the health education and injustice decreasing, focusing on humanity care and helping to get the necessary social support and medical treatment around the gay community in Dalian. Our motto is “ Equity, happy, humanity and healthy”. 
After six years development, the group has been growing maturely to prevent and control the AIDS spreading. Therefore, the hierarchy of the group followed Secretary office, Personnel Management Office, Coordination Liaison Office: Publicizing Office: Finance Office: Project Conducting Office and Supervising Office further guarantees our work reliable and valid. 
Moreover, Dalian Rainbow work group has joined their hands with the local authorities and institutions to launch its campaign educating the vulnerable to prevent them from being affected, conducting the anonymous HIV test, and cooperating with the overseas non-profit organizations. It has been reported by the local mass media many times for the health care and AIDS prevention. 
During the last 6 years, Dalian Rainbow work group has launched many both indoor and outdoor activities promoting gay’s health including peer education and free HIV blood test cooperated with the government.

1. Introduction

2. Health promotion----condom distributions 
Firstly, the DRW has established health centers in Dalian urban area and the counties around, taking charge of health consultation and free-condom distribution. Rather than distributing condoms by volunteers, more gay people came to health centres to get them and also accepted health consultation, which introduce the prevention of ADIS and STD. The advantages derived from the above implementation are obvious for the combination of physical treatment and psychological education not only reducing the disease infectious rate but also providing the gay community with more support. On the contrary, the questionnaires from the consulters provide us with some reliable and quantities data related to the health of the gay community in Dalian.( see the attachment 1.health stations lists ) 
 
3.The training of organization ability strengthened 
Secondly, the DRW was divided into several specified sections, and absorb more new members. 
Last but not least, in Jan 29,2005, the training classes for the organizing capability construction of DRW were launched, which offered the professional guidance to cadre men and different sections. In Jan 31,the red light group held a symposium on outdoor On-site Education Experience. 
 
4.AIDS prevention and controlling education aimed at MB 
“MB (Money Boy), protecting themselves and caring about the others 
The people who provide sex service are always in lack of sexual knowledge, exposing themselves in high risks. Consequently, they are more easily caught by AIDS or STD on one hand, while on the other, they are more easily become the carriers of the virus. Taking into account the severe situation, the DRW held several educational activities among MBs. 
In Feb, 7,2005, we conducted a training on AIDS/STD prevention with MB as target people. We employed the lottery-attached Q&A section to publicize the MSM health and AIDS prevention knowledge, combining the health believes and knowledge with entertainment, which have achieved the educational and recreational goals with less time and expense. 
During the training process, we found that the MBs are vulnerable to AIDS/STD with the lack of necessary sexual knowledge. 
According to the specific circumstances, we publicized the disease prevention knowledge to their questions. The MBs improved a lot in the knowledge of AIDS/STD, enhancing the awareness of sex-security and self-protection, which laid a stable basis for the afterward MBs health education. 
 
5.Popularizing the STD and AIDS knowledge in the divided group 
In Feb 2005, under the demands of our intense work, our group has been subdivided into several small groups, which work to promote the health education in all different levels. To be effective, our groups have adopted many ways in popularizing the STD and AIDS knowledge, to make the training more meaningful and instructive, the volunteers combined the knowledge with entertain see the attachments ment activities, such as singing and dancing in the gay bar. as a result, the efforts have been highly remarked by the United Nation officers once they paid a visit to Dalian. 
6.Hotline training program 
Hotline service plays a vital role in counseling and helping gay physically and psychologically. So it’s no wonder to put emphasis on the training of the hotline. To make sure this service professional and better, we invite the experts from psychology and other discipline backgrounds to train and educate our volunteers. After training, they commented that the training offers a deep insight to the skills of hotline service and are more confident than before. To connect the hotline, please dial 0411-83033381. 7.Peer education in college students concerning their health 
MSM health educational training for floating people “Dalian Rainbow Workgroup, walk close to college students”. We planned 30 students to come, actually, 48 students signed up, and there comes more than 60 college students. After the training, more than a half demonstrated their desire to join DRW as a volunteer. And the feedback from the college students is positive and they said that they have learned more from the activities in sexual health and fun as well. 8.Dalian—Anshan Mutual activities in gay health and friends seeking 
Being on intimate terms with gays in the strange land unsociable heart, excitement for pulse of general character two cities of being situated at different places, ending their estrangement by their shaking hands. Dalian rainbow working group, not only can we glance at our region, but also exchange gay health education and health propaganda. By conducting training course with Anshan city, our main idea is to exchange the experience and study the focus of work by communication, and we got too much, and enrich our working experience, it will give us more helpful later.
